Apart from one twin bedroom upstairs all the rooms are at ground level and include a very large sitting room with its own bar area, a large kitchen and gallery area, a dining room with table that seats 12 adults, a games room that can double up as an additional bedroom, a smaller TV room, a boot room, two double rooms, one twin room, one single room, two bathrooms and a shower room. With a private BBQ area and patio, the house which nestles against the side of the hill enjoys fabulous open views across the surrounding farmland towards the Island of Hoy and the waters of Scapa Flow.

Orkney is steeped in history with many archaeological sites to visit. Skara Brae, Maes Howe, Scapa Flow, the Churchill Barriers, the Italian Chapel, the ring of Brodgar, the Old Man of Hoy, Tomb of the Eagles – all evocative names and places and all here close to this house on Orkney and within walking distance in Orphir is the Earl's Bu and Round Church.

Scorrabrae is a  paradise for those who enjoy walking, mountain biking, fishing and sailing and for the less energetic just relax and watch the ever changing scenery.
